Ok so this weekend I kinda got carried away. I have been juicing my veggies and fruits and eating extremely well. So we decided to have a barbecue and man did it do me wrong. I ate a salad and a burger and some shrimp kabobs. Why did I eat that burger. I was doing 1-4...lol if there is a 4 :) I was sick as a dog. My body said what in tar nations are you doing to us. First you want us to relax then you put all of this stress on us. Well it hit me very hard. I was sick like never before. I am turning away from my wicked ways and moving on to what my body needs. Good healthy clean and easily digestible foods....No more pork or beef and more veggies and fruit.
Update... Still holding at 9 1/2 + 3... Yep I gained some.

Update
So my mom asked me if I have lost any weight. I told her no not yet, but soon. I dont want her watching my weight and the foods I eat. Anyway so here is my update.
I have lost 2 1/2 pounds for a total of 9 1/2 pounds. I think that is pretty good. Courtney is so use to see mommy exercise that she is able to recite the workout instructors video. I often here her saying "and march two three four, and kick two.. three..four" it is refreshing to say the least.

Today It all made sense
Today I was doing my daily exercise routine and Courtney asked me what was I doing. I told her I was exercising. She then said "Mommy why are you exercising"? I looked at her an smiled and said; " I want to be healthy and feel better" She smiled and threw her hands up in the air and said "Yay" that was the moment I realized that this child's health and lifestyle dependent on me. If she sees me exercising and living a healthy lifestyle then perhaps she will as well.
So here's to better health and passing on the legacy....

I can't fight this feeling...
Ok so this weekend so far has been great. I have realized my goals.
1. Stop using Asthma medicine
2. Teach Courtney a better way of eating.
3. Introduce at least 60% of raw foods into my diet as a lifestyle.
So how did I do this weekend in front of the TV with all of those great commercials? Well i literally kept track of my food by posting what I ate on the coffee table as well as on the refrigerator.
Aiden, Thank you so much for the tips about the sugar craving. You are so right. I have had this urge for cookies, cakes and everything in between. But every time I wanted something sweet I drank a cup of water and then I replaced it with a natural sweetener. Fruit...has been my drink of choice. So last night I cooked some HEALTHY greens, a few slices of lean ham, and corn. As for my breakfast I had wheat pancakes with sugar free syrup and two eggs (the eggs were bad choice) and my coffee. For lunch I had tomato soup.
All in all I have done very well. I made Kool-Aid with Splenda....needs work but not too bad. Courtney thought it was wonderful. She asked for seconds. Oh and I managed to get in half of my required water intake. But slowly I shall rise.
Exercise...um well not so much It was snowing yesterday and I haven't received the bike. I was hesitant to put in a workout tape...even though I had not excuse. I will work out today...I got the tape already set. Wish me luck. Oh and thank you Nepp for your advice, I know understand what I am going through and thank you for supporting me.
Hey its all about accountability! Please stay tuned!
